An afternoon of restoration, release, and re-connection. You’ll be beautifully guided with EFT-tapping, somatic dance, breathwork and music.
There is a natural pull within us to slow down as the days get shorter, to turn inward, and rest more.
And yet, as winter approaches, the world seems to ask us to do the opposite.
The festive season is approaching. Calendars fill up and expectations grow. There is shopping, socialising, deadlines, work, family commitments, and the familiar pressure to keep going, pushing beyond our true capacity and the natural energy of winter.
How would you like to discover a new way of navigating this time of year that honours your natural rhythm?
Welcome to The Winter Restoration
This is an afternoon for you to step out of the pace and pressure of everyday life and come back to yourself.
We will guide you to release, restore and reconnect through three powerful and complementary practices:
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique): Amanda will guide you with this simple yet powerful tool that helps us to identify and release emotions, thoughts and patterns that may be keeping us stuck.

Somatic Dance: Carli will lead this invitation to tune into your body and explore movement as a way of listening, feeling, expressing and releasing, rather than performing.
Breathwork: Carson will guide this breathwork experience, using conscious connected breathing, to support deeper release, restoration and connection with yourself.

Music: Our resident DJ, Kismet will guide us with a carefully curated music journey throughout the day.
Refreshments: There will also be hot drinks, and hand-made snacks provided by Leaf Lounge Café to enjoy, with time to pause and connect along the way.

The journey
12:30pm – Arrive, settle, and opening ceremony
Take a breath, leave the outside world at the door and make yourself comfortable with a hot drink and a snack, as we set our intentions and begin the journey.
1:00pm – EFT-Tapping with Amanda
We’ll begin by noticing and exploring what we’re carrying and what we’re ready to release as we move towards winter.
2:20pm – Somatic Dance with Carli
An embodied journey inviting you to listen to your body, soften what you’re holding and reconnect with your own natural rhythm.
3.20pm – Breathwork with Carson
A guided breathwork journey creating space for deeper release, restoration and connection.
4.30pm – Closing circle, and reflections
A gentle close to the afternoon before heading back into the world.
5pm close
*Times are estimated and may vary depending on the flow of the day.
Our wish is that this journey gives you the space to listen deeply and reconnect with the unique wisdom and rhythm of your own body, and that what you discover here can stay with you, guiding how you move through your everyday life.
What to bring
We invite you to be as comfortable as possible for the time we have together, so please bring everything you need to create your cosy afternoon nest. Here are some suggestions:

- Warm layers
- Your journal and pen(s)
- Bolster, eye mask, meditation cushion
*For the comfort of attendees and practitioners, a gentle request to please avoid wearing any synthetic perfumes or aftershaves.

What we’ll supply
We’ll bring our open hearts and hugs for those that want them.
On a more practical note, we will have water, hot drinks, and some tasty hand-made snacks to keep you energised. These will be gluten free, nut free and vegan.
Creating a safe and welcoming space
We want The Winter Restoration to feel like a safe and welcoming space to simply be yourself.
We’ll create an environment that is supportive, compassionate and free from judgement, where you can choose what feels right for you and honour your own boundaries throughout the afternoon.
There is no expectation to share, perform or do anything that doesn’t feel comfortable and we also ask that we respect each other’s privacy, keeping anything personal shared on the day confidential.
You are invited to listen to yourself and take part in whatever way feels supportive for you.
Photography & Videography
Note that photography and videos will be taken on the day for promotional purposes. However, this will be done sensitively and discreetly so as not to interrupt your experience. Please be assured, we will not capture anyone in process or emotional release.
