I offer one to one therapy sessions from my therapy space in Herne Bay, Kent, as well as online, supporting adults to better understand how their experiences may have shaped the beliefs and patterns that influence how they feel, view themselves and navigate life, so they can move forward with greater confidence, clarity and freedom.
Integrative Cognitive and Energy Therapy
We all have our own unique experiences, stories and ways of seeing the world. This is why I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual, rather than expecting everyone to fit the same model.
By taking the time to understand your experiences, patterns and what matters to you, we can explore not only what is happening, but why and how this may be keeping you feeling stuck.
I bring together a range of therapeutic approaches, combining psychological understanding with energy based approaches to support the areas that are most important for you.
Together, we can develop a deeper understanding of yourself, shift unhelpful patterns and create meaningful change that is aligned with the life you want to create.

Working Together
Therapy is a collaborative process where you will have space to explore what is happening, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and work towards the changes you would like to make.
Some sessions may involve practical strategies and developing new ways of responding. Others may involve exploring emotional experiences, limiting beliefs or memories that continue to influence how you feel today.
We will work together at a pace that feels appropriate for you, ensuring the process feels supportive, manageable and meaningful.
I may draw on one or several of the following approaches, depending on what feels most appropriate for your journey.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence based approach that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviours.
Sometimes we can become caught in patterns of thinking and responding that contribute to anxiety, low mood, stress or feeling overwhelmed. CBT helps you recognise these patterns, understand how they influence the way you feel and respond, and explore alternative ways of thinking and coping.
Together, we explore the thoughts, assumptions and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, while developing new perspectives and practical strategies to support change. Sessions often include reflection, skills practice and small exercises between sessions, helping you apply what you learn to everyday life.
CBT focuses on the present and supports you to develop healthier ways of thinking, coping and responding, giving you greater understanding, choice and confidence when facing life’s challenges.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as tapping, is a therapeutic approach that combines elements of cognitive therapy with gentle tapping on acupressure points.
EFT can help reduce the intensity of difficult emotions, calm the nervous system and create a sense of greater emotional balance. By focusing on thoughts, feelings, memories or beliefs while tapping, we can begin to change the way the brain responds to emotional triggers and create new, more supportive patterns.

Many people find EFT helpful for anxiety, stress, fears, limiting beliefs and emotional experiences that continue to affect them in the present.
Matrix Reimprinting

Matrix Reimprinting combines elements of EFT tapping with visualisation.
Sometimes, when we experience something overwhelming or emotionally painful, a part of us can remain connected to that experience. Although we may know we are safe in the present, parts of ourselves connected to earlier experiences can continue to carry the fears, beliefs or emotions from what happened.
Matrix Reimprinting allows us to compassionately connect with these parts, understand what they needed at the time and help them feel safe, supported and heard.
By working with past experiences in this way, we can begin to transform the emotional impact they have on us today, creating space for new beliefs, greater self understanding and the freedom to move forward.
This approach can be particularly helpful when working with childhood experiences, trauma, limiting beliefs, fears and patterns that continue to repeat in your life.
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a psychological approach that explores the connection between our thoughts, language, emotions and behaviours.
NLP recognises that we all develop our own unique ways of understanding and interpreting the world, shaped by our experiences and the meaning we make from them.
Sometimes the ways we think, respond or communicate can create unhelpful patterns that keep us feeling stuck. NLP offers tools to help us explore these patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, gain new perspectives and create more helpful ways of thinking, responding and approaching situations in our lives.

My Wider Therapeutic Influences
My approach is also shaped by my background as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and my experience working across a variety of mental health settings.
Alongside my core therapeutic approaches, I draw on a range of psychological models and training, including Compassion Focused Therapy principles, systemic perspectives and trauma informed practice.
These influences help me consider the whole person, including how your experiences, relationships may contribute to the beliefs and the patterns that have developed throughout your life.
